Expertises,
consultancy
and researches

Sylva Nova is sharing its operational expertise and ongoing learning through various consultancy assignments and studies related to forestry issues:

  • Preparation of environmental offsetting dossiers for infrastructure developments
  • Expert in technical working groups and think tanks
  • Participation in international scientific consortium projects
  • Forest impact studies
  • Assistance with environmental and forestry communication
  • Organisation of information/training sessions
  • Forest Living Lab

A Forest Living Lab is a participatory innovative approach that aims to co-develop shared solutions in response to complex problems (conflicts of use, misunderstandings, etc.). It involves a variety of stakeholders (public, private, and local communities) and places forest users at the heart of the consultation and decision-making process.

In close collaboration with AgroParisTech (*) and its methodoly, we are developing a participatory and progressive method divided into several interactive workshops, ranging from the identification of uses and conflicts to the development of a concrete action plan that is applicable and collectively respected.
